Landscape Photography photography is fairly easy compared to other genre. Nothing Moves! As long as you have solid equipment and a beautiful landscape, it just takes a bit of experimenting and you will end up with some gorgeous shots.

The biggest issue for most people is that the lenses that really capture a landscape will set you back a pretty penny.

However, to start out you can find some pretty good deals online. I bought a used lenses on Ebay, and it turned out great! Additionally, you can purchase different brands of lenses such as Tamron, which aren’t quite as sharp as the brand names. However, you will get some pretty great shots with them.

Smart Phone

Another factor is that if you have a brand new phone such as the Iphone X or Samsung 10, they can actually take some pretty great landscape shots!

Put on the HDR if you really want to make it look sharp. This mode optimizes the detail of the darkest and lightest parts of your picture. It also creates a better balance of color overall.

When I was in the Galapagos, some of the best shots I took were actually on a phone. Cell phone cameras are getting sharper and sharper. If you really are considering getting into photography, look into investing in a phone with a nice camera.
